Mohanthal is a traditional besan based Indian sweet which is regarded as favourite of Hindu Bhagwan Krishna and hence prepared on Sri Krishna Janamashtami festival. The sweet Mohanthal is named after Bhagwan Krishna as Mohan is an epithet for Him.
